Nervous waiting for consultant to give go ahead after mid cycle scan check for fluid there was minimal fluid as there was last 2 cycles which transferred were ones to go ahead.
I’ve had no information what this fluid is only that they will keep an eye on it but can’t help think it was reason for last 2 failures so why go ahead again?

Hi Cally, I had fluid discovered mid cycle too. I had a contrast saline scan as soon as it was discovered to check the cause- could be result of previous surgery scar tissue or polyps. Can you ask for further investigations if it’s a continued issue?
Mine ended up going away after they have me progesterone but I had a scan the day before transfer to check.
They can also remove (aspirate) it ready for your transfer but my Dr wasn’t keen on this as you can’t ensure it won’t come back after transfer. Still worth asking in your case if it’s minimal.
Hi Cally, I’ve had exactly the same every month and this time I continued meds like I was going to go for transfer and the fluid went. The progesterone cleared it up x
Thank you have read progesterone helps where as prognova can increase but as can’t have too much progesterone I’m upping my dose great yours cleared up
Yes I had a scan on Friday and had fluid then went today and it’s gone. I took one tablet 3 times a day and that done the trick xx I wish you all the best xx
Yes I am a massive believer I get the fluid because of the progynova. I checked my lining when I wasn’t havent treatment and I didn’t have fluid problems when not taking it. I know it can be other things. Keep at it I know it’s disheartening but you will get there x
