So a few months ago now I had numerous cycles with fluid in the uterus so I never went ahead with the medication to get to embryo transfer. This time I have it back but it’s a tiny amount... I am continuing with the meds, starting progesterone tonight and having a scan on Wednesday to see if the fluid has gone... did anyone else have fluid issues and what was the outcome? X
So went back today two days before transfer for a lining re check and the fluid had gone!!! The progesterone had cleared it up! So excited x

I have had x2 cycles cancelled because of fluid in my uterus which they felt was coming from a C-section niche. Both cycles I had cancelled I was having a medicated FET. The third cycle we went for a naturism cycle as they felt the medication may have been making the fluid worse. With the natural cycle the fluid was minimal and we went ahead with the transfer. Unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage.
I’m sorry to hear that.. I had a miscarriage last year and that’s where I thought the fluid originated from. It’s a sad time when that happens, so I’m very sorry. I am hoping it’s gone by Wednesday but I doubt it. Everything I take progynova I seem to have fluid x
I had some fluid in my uterus before my first transfer, picked up at my base line scan. By the time I did the transfer five days later, it was gone. I had a HyCoSy after that transfer just to check I didn’t have any blockages and all was okay xx
I’m (hopefully!) having a frozen embryo transfer and have been told I have fluid too, if it’s not gone by Tuesday we will have to cancel the cycle. I think it’s from the progynova as had 3 fresh cycles before with no fluid and have read it is a side effect. From what I’ve read, hopefully if it’s very little the progesterone should dry it up. Fingers crossed for both of us! Xx
Hi.. I had fluid on a natural FET following a cancelled medicated cycle where I was on high doses of progynova. I had a saline scan to make sure there were no underlying causes. The clinic thought that once I’m start progesterone it will change form and disappear. I had a scan the day before transfer and luckily it was all clear.Hoping the same happens for you xx
