Advice / support after frozen embryo transfer

Joanna-Arabella1984 profile image

Hi all, guess I’m looking for other peoples experience and thoughts. I had my frozen embryos transfer 11 days ago and starting to feel nervous/ down.

On day 5/6 I did experience some mild cramping and I noticed tiny (tiny tiny) droplets of blood in mucus in the loo around then.

I am getting watery discharge but I’m on high dosages of progesterone.

My boobs don’t feel swollen at all.

I guess I’m not sure if I have / should feel more symptoms by now. I’m freaking out!

What should I be feeling. This is so hard!

Hi lovely, I just wanted to let you know that during the 2ww I had no symptoms! I remember saying to husband it’s not worked I know my body blah blah well the positive test proved me wrong.Every woman has their own experience so honestly until you do the test anything is possible!

My test day is when I started cramping so that set off a whole new load of worries but so far so good. I have everything crossed for you. When are you due to test xxx

Thank you! I'm just having a really bad day and feel so anxious. I'm due to test on Monday. I have to wait an entire two weeks - did you? I was so tempted to do one earlier but shut the cupboard door on the tests . So pleased you got a positive, how far along are you now? Good luck with it. It's so beautiful but so bloody stressful. Why do they make us think it's bloody easy to make a baby!? 😂

No worries! I just know how stressful it was and lockdown makes it worse as you don’t have anywhere to go to try and distract yourself. As I felt nothing during the 2WW and felt it was going to be a negative I tested on day 11 as that fell on a weekend and then done one every morning till day 14 which was my actual test day.

I am not going to tell you to do the same as that is your choice and there are pros and cons to it.

I am currently 9 weeks 5 days. I would love to say the worry stops but it doesn’t. I just take one day at a time.

Good luck xxx

Ooh that’s great! Getting closer to 12 weeks!

Hmm I’m 11 days post transfer but I don’t test till Monday... I think I might wait until the weekend. My husband wants me to wait the full 2weeks! Arghh.

Ok well thank you. I’ll update you and wishing you a really lovely pregnancy! I think one day at a time is all you can do.

Xx
