Hi Ladies,

I am 6DP5DT and taking clexane and prolutex injections. I am bruising quite badly and finding it hard to get a space on either side of my belly button to inject. I now seem to bleed at the injection site each night as I try to find a spot that is not bruised!! Any advise? TIA x

I am exactly the same! Tonight’s injection upset a bruise and I bled a lot! I’ve been icing the site before injection and going a bit lower... and massaging the site gently after to try and get the liquid to disperse xx

I have the same problem, I spoke to my clinic about it who said it was fine to use my thighs, the front or the outer thigh fat, just not the inner thigh. Xx

Hi Lovely, are you pinching the injection site area? Also I found going in at a slight angle guided by the slant of the needle helped a little with bruising x
