Morning lovely ladiesss. Hope you are all welland happy.
Just a quick question π€
Do you get bruises from the injections? Few times when i use menopur a little bump appear on the injection place and then bruises. Do i hit a vein or it's just some air? It bruises afterwards. I'm prettysure is quite normal but i thought let me see what your experience is. π
Wishing you a lovely day ππ€π

Oh ouch I thought my 2 were bad! It gets hard trying to find an unused spot. If its really sore put some ice or a bag of frozen peas on injection site for 20 seconds before Injecting numbs it a bit π
Oh I'm not in the 2ww just yet, I will be on my 3rd 2ww soon I'm about to start my first FET next month thank you tho fingers π€π€π€ for both of us π£πππ
Hi Kindmr. Always push needle in slowly, draw back on plunger to see if blood comes back. If it does, youβre in a vein, so pull needle out a bit. Push drug in slowly and pull needle out slowly. Fingers crossed! Diane
The needles on Menopur are rubbish! I found them pretty blunt is Im honest but I found that I got better with practice. If you look closely at the needle you'll see that it comes to an angled point, try to pinch and inch and use the sharpest bit to go in at 90 degrees, I found giving it a little twist also helped!xx
Heyy. Yes mine is the same. I bruise only from Menopur. But the ladies here gave some good advices and will try to be more careful today. Good luck to you too hope you get to start a new cycle sooni xxx ππ
Can relate to this am starting to get bruises and always am red with bumps for short time after the injections. Good suggestions by others though so will look to do those too. Best wishes. Xx
Definitely very helpful advices. I have a massive bruise from last night, tonight I've done better i think xx Best wishes to you too ans good luck ππππ
Hope you managed tonight ok! Totally agree itβs the menopur needles that are rubbish. I sometimes found depending on the angle they went into the vial they became blunt so wouldnβt then go into my skin first time. Realised quickly if it didnβt go in on itβs first attempt to put the menopur back in the vial and start again with a new needle so it was nice and sharp.
Heyy. Thanks for your reply. Seems like everyone struggles with the menopur s needles. I've been on Menopur 9 days and bruised myself 4 times including today as well haha. No matter how careful i was just happened. But it's fine and will be all worth at the end ππ€πxxx
Hope you are well and enjoying your pregnancy π€ππxx
