Low dose aspirin for FET

Hi, I started 75mg of aspirin on day 2 of stim injections. My fresh transfer failed but I’ve continued with the aspirin which I probably don’t need.

I’m not sure when my FET will be. For those who took aspirin for FET, when did you start?

Thanks

Hi I started on the same day as my frozen transfer and I have a 9 week old little boy. I was on 150mg throughout my pregnancy.

you don’t start any blood thinners until the day of transfer you should defo stop them just now 🤗 you will need to build up your lining etc for your FET before you start blood thinners again xx

Thank you. Should I take them after the transfer is done or the morning of? X

You should really only take them if prescribed and the clinic will tell you when but it is usually afterwards x

I started taking 75mg a day on my day of transfer. Worked for me x

Thank you. Was there anything else specific you did that you think helped? X

You can never guarantee what works for sure when you throw everything at it, but I also had acupuncture once a week in the run up to transfer and then had a session pre-transfer and post-transfer (same day as the actual transfer), I also made a juice from the IVF diet book full of beetroot and pineapple and drank that everyday in the run up to transfer and about a week or so in as I then went on holiday and couldn’t make it anymore 😬 but carried on with the aspirin 😊 xx

I did all of that the first time and will do it again the next but I’m going to try and get busy next time as I think I relaxed too much and was overthinking everything x

I agree! On the same day of transfer, we went out for lunch and went to see Romesh Ranganathan in the evening! I also did lots of walking and went on holiday from about day 9 I think. So I was quite distracted! It was my third transfer and all of the things I did this time, I hadn’t done previously. I wish you all the luck this time 💗

Sorry that your fresh transfer failed. It's so hard. Be gentle on yourself. I took 150mg from first day of positive pregnancy test result. This is to reduce risk of pre-eclampsia. Do you know why you've been put on aspirin? X

My clinic haven’t recommended anything to me. I’ve seen a lot of positive outcomes for others and thought it couldn’t hurt x
