Hi I am having my first fet after a fresh cycle failed in nov 2020. I have asked for embryo glue.
Does anybody have any experience of this and did it help? Any opinions would be appreciated.

Hiya
Ours does embryo glue as standard and so far we have had two negatives and two miscarriages. Not sure how much it actually helps 🤷🏼♀️ but sometimes it's just nice knowing you're doing what you can, especially given embryo glue has no risks. All the best x x
I’ve had 3 x FETs. Used embryoglue for the second two which both worked (first was a mc but currently 8 weeks pregnant again from the one after that) I would always use it now xx
I’ve also opted for it, hopefully having a natural transfer March some time and thought the same - if it can’t do any harm then we’ll go for it for the slightest chance it helps 🤞🏽 Good luck!
Embryo glue is included in all transfers where i am, its a poor name for its mechanism 'glue' as its not really glue at all. It is a specially developed formula that contains, among other things, high levels of a substance called 'hyaluronan', also known as hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronan occurs naturally in your uterine lining...so it in effect makes secretions stickier, aiding the very complex process of implantation. Go for it!! xx
Thanks for the explanation..... makes me feel better as it’s all happening for me tomorrow xx
Wonderful. Did you have your transfer. How are you feeling? xx
Yes I had my transfer on Wednesday with embryo glue and it all went well. Thanks for asking. Felt ok but yesterday started to get lower back pain which I ended up having paracetamol for. Waves of nausea today but not too bad. I think this is because of side effects of medication. I didn’t feel like this with last transfer which failed. X
Sounds promising that its different than the previous transfer which didn't surprise you with any 'possible symptoms' the lower back pain could be the embryo implanting. Fingers crossed it is. It would be about right 3 days following transfer, as i had the same when i had my son on the 3rd day was aching in the back and had twinges in the front. x
