After my bfn yesterday I have obviously been mulling over all the details and want to be satisfied I'll give it all I've got next time. Do you get embryo glue on the nhs? If not, is there any way of paying for it as an extra somehow? Any advise/experience gratefully received x
Embryo Glue??!: After my bfn yesterday... - Fertility Network UK
Embryo Glue??!
Sorry to see a BFN :(. I think it depends on your clinic with the glue although I had a scratch and had to pay for it. I think if you want something you can usually make the argument to pay for it! X
We have just had an NHS cycle but although glue was recommended to us by the clinic we had to pay for it. It cost us £125
Hi I payed extra for the embryo glue as not covered by nhs funding although I had a miscarriage would def recommend the glue xx
So sorry to hear of your BFN😔 We had the embryo glue during our second and last cycle. We did have to pay for it along with the scratch but both ended in BFNs unfortunately. Good luck xx
Hey Hun we went private, I think it depends on clinic . Our first failed but we used glue second time and we are 14 weeks pregnant . I also had scratch before treatment. Glue I think was £150 X good luck on your next go X
Thanks everyone, some great advice! I love this site, its good to know there is the voice of experience ready to share all. I wouldnt even have heard of embryo glue if it wasnt on here, no one at my clinic has ever mentioned it. Will definitely feel a little wiser next time, thanks everyone xx
Our clinic use embryo glue as the norm even during NHS rounds.
We paid for an endo scratch on one of the NHS rounds that we had.
Anything is worth a try
