Embryo glue?

My clinic has suggested for our 3 cycle of IVF that we use embryo glue for our double transfer.

I’ve done some research and can’t really find any solid evidence if this is harmful to the embryo or not.

Has anyone had embryo glue at your ET? What are you experience with it?

We’re going to try it next time too. On the HFEA website it says that there are no known risks to the embryo and there’s some evidence it increases chance of pregnancy but it’s not conclusive yet. I think it’s worth a try.

There isn’t much for or against embryo glue (hyaluronic acid based medium)- we opted for it during our second cycle. I’m 9 weeks now but could be coincidence. It wasnt too expensive and I couldn’t find anything to suggest it did any harm. Xxx

I have used it twice, my first cycle was a BFN and second was a BFP, so rather inconclusive about the glue! However I think it was worth it, anything that could help in my eyes is worth it. Good luck xxxx

Hiya. I used embryo glue for both of my cycles and and got BFP both times but there isn’t much proof that it’s the glue that helped or not though. I just thought there isn’t any harm in trying it. Xx
