I am 3weeks and 3days and have noticed at around two weeks that every time I sneezed or coughed especially when I was lying down I am getting a sharp pulling and cramping sensation, when doing some research it all points to something called 'round ligament pain' which seems to make sense, when reading more about it, it says this usually starts about week 14 which I'm no where near.
Has anyone had any experience with this as it is quite painful, could it be something else, should I be worried?
I'm finding the best way to help against the pain, when I know I'm going to sneeze or cough is to round my body so I'm not stretched out like when lying down.

Hi there. I got sharp stabbing pains on my side when I coughed or sneezed or got up too quickly. It turned out to be round ligament and I got them as early as you as well. They’re almost gone now though, I’m 10+5 today.
Thank you for letting me know, there is so much information out there, sometimes it's hard to know what is right, glad it's easing for you, it really is quite painful x x
Could be just your uterus stretching never really heard of it being that early in pregnancy but could be 🤷🏻♀️ it does say when I googled can happen when coughing or sneezing. I’m 18w started getting it when turning in bed had it with both my other 2 pregnancies aswel it’s like a heavy achy pain in the hips.
Thanks for your reply, I don't know what it is but my symptoms are completely different to yours by the sound of it, it's like a pulling and cramping feeling when I sneeze or cough and quite painful, as long as it doesn't get any worse I should be fine X x
I am now 6 weeks just, in the first weeks I had these pains, felt like something was going to snap of i moved too quickly or coughed or sneezed. I was quite bloated in the first few weeks to the point it was painful but now that's easing the pains are too (i still look huge but not struggling now) . Now and then i get a bit of a twinge still in the groin but everything feels less tight now so im putting it down to recovering from treatment xx
I suppose it could be any of these things really but i'm not sure its from the treatment as such, you described it well, it does feel like something is going to snap, glad to hear it eases off with time though x
I am just over 4 weeks and have been getting this since 7dp. I got my bfp on 9dp.. I am worried about this also and thought maybe ligament pains but it is a continuous dull ache for me near my ovaries.
