Hi all! I'm new to all of this. I'm 34F and basically starting IVF after 1yr of my husband and I trying and then finding out both my tubes were blocked from a previous very bad ectopic.

Started swimming after a long wait (my estradiol levels were super high) and today is day 2. I started to panic about injecting an air bubble while trying to give myself my menopur this evening and was looking for some answers online which led me here. I feel so reassured from the answers I'm seeing to questions in my head and it feels good not to feel alone in this journey.

Hoping to post updates and sharing as well as hearing great news while here 😊

Hi Artemisan,

I am also fairly new to IVF, this forum has been great in finding support and reassurance, it is nice to communicate/read posts from others who understand more what you are going through. I talk quite openly about IVF to my friends and family around me and they are great, but it is not completely the same support. My partner is amazing too, but it has been nice to give him a break from all my anxiety too every so often, by using this forum at times.

It is exciting to finally get to start something different after a wait! I wish you all the best with your medication, hopefully your body will respond beautifully without giving you too many side effects! 🥰🤞

Same here! My OH has been so supportive but it's not the same, and I have all these worries in my head. It's nice to find a community.

Welcome to the not-fun club. I would be really careful to make sure you don't have hydrosalpinx if you're having tube issues. All the best wishes to you xoxo

Thanks! I actually do have one. My doctor said it's small but I'm thinking of getting sclerotherapy or essure after the egg retrieval

Just to say, I also did IVF after an ectopic pregnancy leading to tube problems and it really worked for me. So I’m very positive for you 😊

Wishing you all the luck with your journey, this place has definitely helped me through some questions that you'd think we're odd or over reacting, but actually it's completely normal for us to think them!!! Best advice I can give is be the best version of your self, health and fitness wise, also helps keeps our over active minds occupied as well. Best of luck!! ❤️

I love that last part. It's hard to be 100% optimistic but I'm going to give it my best shot
