Hi everyone,

What an amazing group!! Im absolutely gutted I didn’t find it sooner but I’m looking forward to meeting and talking to women in the same position, or who have been here before!

Sadly Ive just had 3 unsuccessful IUI treatments. So now its on to IVF, we are just waiting for our first appointment on the 17th to get all the information we need.

Im feeling rather overwhelmed if I’m honest and quite sorry for myself. Im finding it hard to stay positive and im just totally exhausted after 2 years of trying, then 6 months on Chlomid, then 3 IUI cycles back to back.

Has anyone had any similar experiences? At the same stage? Been there done that?

C xx

Hi! 😊 Welcome to the forum. I’ve not long joined myself. I’m at the same stage as you. I’ve had three unsuccessful IUIs, and awaiting an appointment for all the information for IVF too. Yeh I’ve been feeling down about about it all and beating myself up about why IUI didn’t work. But IVF has a higher success rate so at least we have a better chance then before. We’ve been trying for 3 years now. It is so exhausting physically and emotionally. But we will get there 💪 xx

Hi, I’m sorry to hear your IUI didn’t work either! It almost feels like a stepping stone to get to IVF doesn’t it? Its really nice to meet someone at the same stage as me too, its very daunting xx

Im sorry about yours too. It does indeed. Yeh it really is. I know I’m so nervous about it all. We have one round of IVF on the NHS so I’m praying it works. How are you feeling about it all? xx

Welcome to the group 😊.

I think it’s normal to feel completely overwhelmed at this stage but if you have a look at the other ladies’ stories it does help to know your not alone.

Good luck for your first appointment on 17th x

Hi Clou, I am a newbie to this group - been here about 2 weeks and its a godsend! I ttc for 3 years before being referred to a consultant who said I had PCOS and needed meds. Currently on Femara - 6 months and then IVF. Nothing happened so far and 3 months in :( If you ever need to chat :-)

Hi Clou. I've been ttc for almost 10 years and have already had 1 failed IVF attempt and 2 Failed ICSI cycles. Actually, I failed ICSI and one positive but ended with mc so I understand you, dear. I know that you are exhausted and probably, you need to have a rest. The better health you have the better outcome will be. Not sure that your tired body can give a positive result, you know. Will be keeping my fingers crossed for you and wait for your updates here.

Warmest vibes
