Sorry if this is in wrong thread...I'm absolutely terrified right now. I'm currently 14 weeks 3 days. Had private scan on sat and everything was fine. Told parents yesterday..woke up today to red spotting. Phoned epu but they won't do anything unless bleeding increases. I have no cramps but have the feeling of dread. Feel I jinxed everything by telling people yesterday. Please pray that everything is ok. Darent go to the loo again..feel like this is last year all over again 😢 xxx

Bleeding 14 weeks pregnant :-(
Hi Kath, I had something similar around 13wks....mine was just a bit of a gush like but not a huge amount but oh my days it really does give you the fear. I felt the same, like I'd jinxed it by telling some people too....sods law. My EPU gave me the same advice that unless I filled a pad then to relax and sit it out. Mine did settle down and I haven't had any since so I really hope yours does too an the fact you have no pain is good. Hugs, you just need a bit of a break!xx
Thanks lovely, trying desperately to hold onto the fact that I have no pain. I didn't think this journey would be so hard. Did you have a scan to check everything was ok after your bleed? Did they find out what caused it? Xxx
No I didn't have a scan! I did try to take away that because nobody else was concerned (Spoke to the local midwife and EPU) then I should try not to be too.....easier said than done. All I could think was typical that I would get a bleed after my 12wk scan. However I did decide that I couldn't possibly wait until the anomaly scan we decided to book another scan around 17wks privately as it was a long wait until my next one which isn't until 21.5wks. Hang on in there, it really is tough.....the worry never seems to go however if Im honest Im not quite as anxious as I was before the 12wks.xxx
So sorry to hear this Kath, it is worry that you can do without. I'm hoping everything will be o.k. for you though, as you only just had your scan on Saturday and all looked fine then, so that's really positive. I've had some spotting for a few days now and the nurse said it should be fine unless the flow increases and can be caused by a number of things. I won't know until my viability scan on Wed, so am trying to remain hopeful. If you're still concerned later on, hopefully your GP will refer you to the EPU, if only for reassurance. If no joy there, A&E can also refer xx
Hi kathgibson. Oh dear, what a worry for you. However, I can honestly say that this happens more than you will ever realise. The scan should reassure you that little one is safe. Have a rest when you can and make sure you are passing plenty of clear urine, just in case you might be developing a bit of an infection. Fingers crossed all will soon settle back down. Thinking of you. Diane
Hi! Did everything turn out okay for you?!? ❤️❤️❤️
Hi lovely, thank you for asking ..all good and now 21 weeks! The spotting turned out to be a rough patch on my cervix . I dont think I'll stop worrying about one thing or another until I actually meet little one though! Hope all is good with you Xx
