bleeding 6 weeks pregnant

Hi

I’m not sure what to do.

so I bleed last Sunday only Sunday quite heavy really bad stomach cramps thought it was game over then had to go to the EPU on Thursday for my 6 weeks scan. I was so happy they saw a baby and a heart beat.

Then last night I started bleeding again same as before red blood but small clots had some stomach pain on and off though most of the night.

can this happen I’m on

Cyclogest 2 a day

Lubion injections one

Elleste solo 5 pills a day

I have read the side effects as I did in the last pregnancy they are stomach cramps spot bleeding.

I’m not sure what to think the EPU is only open mon- Fri so can’t go there when I phoned up gynaecology they said to me that they can only see me if I’m filling full pads every hour and they don’t do scans anyway.

I think it’s just hold tight

Has anyone had this before it’s so worry I feel really rubbish too shattered mentally and physically.

I also have a 17 month also can’t get any rest either.

I have heard it’s not uncommon to bleed and is it true once you see a heart beat do the chances of miscarriage go down.

Try to relax and lay down on bed to take rest as much as possible. If it is heavy bleeding continuously , you can go to A&E directly. I was heavily bleeding at 9 weeks and went to A&E, low blood pressure due to losing too many blood last year.

Hi Sarah, it might be the cyclogest . It can cause bleeding and irritation. Take it rectally and contact your clinic.

I had a similar experience and that’s what my clinic instructed me to do.

hi Sarah it sounds a lot like what was happening to me when we had a subchorionic hematoma which is a blood clot that forms between the placenta/embryo and the lining of the womb. If it is that we were told bed rest was needed (as it can increase the chances of miscarriage) but ours did work out positively and it resolved itself after a few weeks we had a healthy baby so I wonder if you have anyone who could help with your little one just now for a few weeks just to be safe until you know more about what’s going on? Hi thank you for your reply I expected to see a SH as u said but she could see one. I had one with my son and bleed a few times after bed rest it stopped and went away

I wonder can they appear after seeing a heart beat ? As the Sonographer said she couldn’t see one after scanning me on Thursday last week. This bleeding it’s really making me anxious x

it could be that it’s not visible anymore because you’ve bled it out of that makes sense? I still had a lot of bleeding when they said it had ‘gone’ but there’s quite a few things that can make us bleed other than SCH (as you probs know from your last time if you were on google as much as me 🙈) and it seems more common with IVF too. I hope it’s all okay it’s such a worry when your bleeding xxx

thank u yes it is all this worry plus when u are on a lot of medication for ivf u wonder does any of that also make a difference with cramps pain bleeding etc.

well I will feel better once I have my scan Mon or Tuesday. Then just pray no more bleeding honest this is no good for stress levels.

I dread going to the toilet x
