My fertility clinic has advised me to take baby aspirin. I popped to boots to purchase some, and the pharmacist said that there is no such thing, however they sold me 75mg dose (low).
What dosage did you take?

That’s the correct dose. My sister who is a GP also hadn’t heard of “baby aspirin“ - I think it’s specific to IVF and everyone else calls it low dose 🤷♀️
Baby aspirin is a term used in the US, I think the dose is around 80mg but they don't sell that here in that exact form
Yes that’s correct. I’m also on 75mg. I usually buy over the counter in Boots as you can get bigger packs than on the shelves xx
Thank you so much for reassuring me that I’m on the correct dose. xx
my consultant told me it's called baby aspirin as that was the dose that was given to babies before it was discovered that aspirin wasn't good for babies!
Yes, baby aspirin is the same as low dose (75mg). I have to take 150mg a day - just before bedtime x
Yeah it’s just low dose like Gerti I have to take 150mg a day I take it at bedtime aswel from 12w
Hi, when were you advised to start taking the low dose asprin? I am having a transfer on Monday and forgot to ask during my lining scan yesterday - am waiting a call back from the clinic but am being impatient!! Thanks x
