Hey. I had my FET on Monday and I continue taking both. They both are crucial for pregnancy to be successful. As we go through a different type of getting pregnant, boths of these medications help and support our bodies by mimicking on what would actually be happening durring natural conception. Progesterone is extremely important as it helps our bodies to protect the baby and creates "home" for them untill placenta is formed. Well this is what my doctors and nurses have explained and some research I have done I hope you are keeping well xx
Thanks babe! Knowing that I am not alone and to understand that both important. I am gonna have my transfer soon and doctor didn’t give enough estrogen and progesterone for the after transfer. Hope they will provide me more after the transfer
Maybe there are different ways that I might not be aware about and I am sure your clinic will advise you closer to date. And if not, just ask them! Did you have your egg retrieval yet? I hope all is going very well for you xx
I haven’t ask them yet. Will ask them when I went for the transfer. I am using egg donor 😩. Not my own. Finger crossed for us both!
Forgot to ask, do you take any prenatal vitamins after the transfer?
Well we all have different journeys of becoming parents❤ My doctor is not a strong believer in expensive vitamins and all he advised was vitamin D and folic acid. Just my own sake I bought omega 3 and pregnancy vitamins that are bit more natural. If you like the name the me know xx
