Exercise during injections for FET

Hi everyone. I’m 39 and will be starting the process for frozen embryo transfer next week with buserelin injections. Obviously in the first cycle with egg retrieval I did not exercise. However what is the situation with FET and injections? Is it safe or is there swelling? I was only planning to do walking but don’t want to go too far in case it is not recommended. After FET I will be relaxing but I want to know if it’s ok during the time I’m on injections leading up to FET. Thanks in advance.

Hi Lady39, sorry I don’t know the answers to this. Like you, I didn’t do any exercise in the lead up to ER, however as I look towards a FET in the new year I too am curious as to whether I can exercise or not. Hope that someone hear has some experience/knowledge. It’s one of the questions I plan to ask my clinic later in the week x

Hi lady39. I used to play semi professional sport and when I was going through IVF I was training 3 times a week aswell as injecting. I got pregnant first time. Obviously I did no exercise once egg transfer happened, but after that I started running again. I am now 15 weeks with my second child after FET. I did no exercise after FET for 7 weeks then I started exercising again- running etc. I am a bit older this time round so wanted to take it a little easier. But if your body is used to the exercise then there’s no harm. Make sure you check with the clinic first though. Sending hugs xx
