Anyone Tried Inositol For PCOS?

Hi I was wondering if any of you ladies out there with PCOS have tried taking Inositol supplements. I read good reviews about it in terms of fertiltiy and regulating cycles etc. I've started taking it and I'm having the heaviest period I've had in years. I normally just get sporadic light periods.

Has any tried these and has a similar experience?

Hi, I tried it before my 3rd cycle as I read it’s great for PCOS but my clinic at the time in Greece told me to stop taking it. My clinic now here in the UK said it wouldn’t affect anything negatively so told me to take it if I wanted to. I didn’t in the end but it’s hard when you read online about things that may help but each clinic tells you something different. I would talk to your clinic and ask their advice. Good luck x

It helped to regulate my periods but this was alongside vit D, COQ10 & pregnacare. I also followed the med diet whilst I was ttc & through both rounds of ivf. X

Hey i asked that question as well a while back. I dont have pcos (i think) but irregular cycles and hd cysts in the past. I take the powder form in my tea nowadays. Have been doing this now for two months. At the same time i hd an increase in my thyroid medication and hd a fresh cycle. Whiles it didnt help my ivf it did shorten my cycles. Used to be 35-+ but last two months around 29/30. So not sure which one did it or it was because of my ivf hormones but i will continue. 🤷🏻‍♀️. Xx
