Hi I am trying naturally this month and I am 9dpo today. This 2ww seems not as bad as an ivf cycle - maybe because we are in an extraordinary situation with lockdown and Easter weekend etc. It may also be because we are not paying tens of thousands of pounds for a private ivf cycle. However I am almost 42 and by the time my clinic reopens, my chances of getting a bfp is even slimmer as my eggs will be even more ancient
I am just venting and wanting see if anyone is also on their 2ww. I am not having any symptoms so I am not hopeful. I have been taking my usual vitamin d and folic acid, and using internet cheapie ovulation tests. How amazing it would be if many of us manage to fall pregnant naturally during this outbreak?!
Good luck everyone xx

I’m in my 2ww too! We were just accepted into the fertility clinic our 1st appointment was coming up and then got cancelled a few days before so we’re just trying naturally for the time being with our fingers crossed that things might happen on there own! I’m just so negative I just think it won’t ever happen for me!!!
So my fingers and toes are crossed for the both of us 🤞🏻💫💛
My period is due next Tuesday so Not really noticed any symptoms as of yet, I’ll keep hoping and keep track of anything I notice! Have you had any symptoms? I think I may test early but I’m not sure 🙈
My period is due on Saturday but sometimes my luteal phase is shorter than 14 days so it could come Friday. I’m always hungry and my tummy is bloated - don’t know if they are af symptoms or just effects of lockdown over indulging 😂. Good luck to us both xx
I am also trying naturally this month! I think my ovulation was day before yesterday. I'm not 100% on that, but hoping I am 1 or 2dpo. Oh my god if I could get pregnant naturally this month, pleeeeease, that would be amazing. Just have to wait and see. Good luck to you too! xxxx
Hello ttcemmie we all need lots and lots and lots of good luck! I keep thinking if I managed to fall pregnant without ivf, how would I spend the money saved 😂😂😂
I can also practically guarantee that the clinics won't be reopened for next month! We're still going to be in "lockdown" in to May! I will also be trying next month too (unless the unexpected miracle happens and I don't need to!).
My husband an I are also trying naturally too. Is hoping for a miracle too much to ask for 😂🙈
I haven’t been tracking ovulation as such as I get a little OCD about it. So we are taking the relaxed approach.
My other half has a slightly lower count. We have been told by our IVF clinic that it could happen naturally but it would take longer. I’ve had egg collection but had to do a freeze all due to OHSS and my FET was cancelled just before transfer.
I have just under a week until aunt flow arrives. Although, I’ve been here many times before and I have just given up of it happening naturally. It’s such a rollercoaster of emotions!
Let’s hope this is our month! I’m never overly positive given my age but I still think we all have a good chance every month - 50 percent bfp and 50 percent bfn 🤣. I understand the real statistics aren’t as simple but to me I always have 50 percent chance until af arrives! Good luck cx
I'm trying natrually after mc bleeding stops..😐until clinic opens to do fet.. hope we all get pregnant 💕❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
It does scare me a little because we were trying for so long and then first go with icsi we got pregnant it's a positive of course...but natrually it takes ages.. we shall see.. xx
I’m also hoping to trying naturally this month 🙏🏻 I had surgery for a mmc nearly 3 wks ago. I caught naturally during stims on my last cycle and hoping for a miracle. I’ve just turned 43 , I’m struggling to be positive xx
I’m only a year younger than you but lots of people get pregnant naturally up till their mid 40s. It takes a lot of luck and trying of course but I am not ready to give up yet and there is no ivf till lockdown is over. So let’s be cautiously positive and keep trying 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
To find out we had caught naturally after injecting for 10 days was a miracle, to then see the little heartbeat we hoped so much that it was our meant to be. Still can’t believe it stopped.
I’m trying to remain positive that it did happen so hopefully It can again but it’s so hard and with time not on my side 😞 I’m worried.
I’m keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻 that you have your little miracle xx
I’m worried too and my husband isn’t (yet) sold on the idea of using donor eggs. But why can’t WE be the lucky ones and have a healthy baby in our 40s! Positivity yields positive outcomes x
Our bodies are capable of amazing things.. look at me, I caught above all the odds.
I just have to keep telling myself that. I’m doing all I can to improve quality taking vitamins, trying to keep a healthy diet and exercise.
I will admit I’m finding it hard working from home and trying to process the mmc.
With clinics closed and unable to have acupuncture and unable to see family and friends I do feel like my support has been taken away but having inspirational ladies like you really helps I just need to get the positivity back. It can and it will happen for us ❤️❤️
Keeping a healthy diet is hard but now Easter is over no more sugars for me! I have been skipping breakfast and only have a tiny lunch so I could have Easter eggs lol xx
After finishing all the carbs at home (pasta, bread etc), I am back on a low low carb diet. I love my pasta but getting rid of all the bad carbs is the only way to lose weight for me. I used to be a size 6/8 in my 20s and early 30s, now I am a couple of sizes bigger and it takes ages to lose the weight every time after a holiday. The sad thing is we are kind of on a semi permanent “holiday” at home without nothing better to do than opening the fridge door 🤣🤣🤣
Me too, low carb, lots of greens, vitamins etc I’ve put on nearly a stone during treatment even though I’ve been eating healthy 🤔 I’m working from home so I’m sat at the kitchen table and not moving much 🙈 xxx
We decided to try naturally after two failed iui destroyed me emotionally to a point we’re I developed anxiety the doctor put me in a mild anti depressant and I lost all confidence although I didn’t ooze confidence anyways .We tracked ovulation as I always have and just went with the timings .Im due in this coming Friday .I have extremely sensitive teeth and boobs although I’m probably noticing things more as I know we have been trying this month but just got to wait now and see what happens .This time out and off work has really relaxed me as I detest my job in the hospitality sector so I’m hoping been do more relaxed and happier to be home will add an advantage to feeling less stressed and more relaxed but good luck everyone no matter how your trying medicated it’s unmedicated a miracle is a miracle xxxx and I truly hope all your dreams come true xxx different mindset could lead to amazing things xxx
Hello Noah1981, I wish you the best of luck! By the sounds of it, not having to go to work is doing you some good so you are in for a good chance. My period is due on Friday or Saturday too, so not long now for us. Xx
Hi it's true our body designed to conceive naturally so let it do it!!!, I have a grandma who keep on saying if you want to fall pregnant then you will if you want to get period then it will.... It's all about thinking of brain... I think you know how brain releases hormones every month just think of ovulation and conceiving... All the best... Me too trying this month if not next month but I'm going to postpone my ivf... I'm really tired of medications!!!!!
Yes it’s not nice injecting needles and pessaries I just wasn’t strong enough to continue in that way my partner couldn’t cope with seeing me so distraught after two failed attempts so it’s the natural way or the high way for us xx good luck xx
I didn’t mind having to inject or the pessaries like yourself it the financial side of things and the sheer heartbreak when you convince yourself I’m being helped by experts it’s gonna work and it doesn’t so you lose £1000s of pounds and no baby 👶 xx
Hi me too had a failed ivf this month and now it's my ovulation week... Trying my level best to manage food, workout, sleep patterns and especially hydrating myself... Don't know whether it works.... Because I have a blocked tube!!!! But trying catstor oil packs let's hope if not don't know when this Corona goes... I'm totally stress free now... Feeling very light as no ivf medications and hope my body does its natural process this time... All the best!!! Oh have lots of Oranges vit c is helpful...
I am so happy to see we are all wishing each other luck and keeping each others spirits up. A positive mindset is so important. Just for our sanity if nothing else. Xxx
Yes and yes although hold out very little hope! We will be trying every month until our clinic re opens which I found out yesterday may not be until 1st July. I’m not tracking anything as it’s sent me a bit crazy in the past and don’t really know when I’m due as IVF drugs have messed up a pretty clockwork cycle so it’s difficult to know. Just trying to get through this is hard enough so we’re not focusing too much on it all. Keeping everything crossed for you xx
I wish you all the best of luck too. It usually happens when we are least expecting it. Just keep trying and hope for the best. I will be thinking of all of you in the next few months and can’t wait to hear some positive stories xx
Hi there, same here, trying naturally, even though I'm 46...but as AmH and FSH / prog all decent ..why not. You never know when a little miracle might strike?!
And as my trad Chinese med doc days...perfect setting, grounded at home
Ive been testing my TSh with medicheck and it's a bit high, 2.9, so I'm thinking of taking 25ug thyroxine. Anybody else here tried that to help get TSH down below 2?
Wow you know everything about your “numbers”. I have no idea what all mine are except my amh was 15. I am not taking any supplements except folic acid and vit d. Two people I know had their babies naturally when they are in the mid 40s so I am sure it will happen to some of us. Good luck and keep us posted xxx
Gosh I'm afraid I can't remember as I've been on it for several years. It was between 5-7 roughly. I take 50mcg every day. How long it takes to react prob depends on the person. 6 weeks - 2 months I would say?
Hi Ladies, hope you are all keeping well and safe. Glad to hear that so many are trying naturally at the moment. I did the same from the moment we were officially on lockdown and MC, failed IUI and IVF I got my BFP this weekend!!!! 🎉🎉 So please, please, please do not give up, keep trying.. you currently have all the time in the world. Gone are the days when you or you partner have to rush to or from work....Good luck to all of you!!! Looking forward to hearing your good news!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Didn’t do much different although as soon as my AF was done we tried to get a “session” 💏 every other day until my AF was due and it never arrived... before the the lock down we never really had or made the time...
Many congratulations! I am so glad to hear successful natural conception stories. It gives us all hope, it can be done!! Wishing you all the best of luck and a happy healthy pregnancy xxx
Didn’t do much different although as soon as my AF was done we tried to get a “session” 💏 every other day until my AF was due and it never arrived... before the the lock down we never really had or made the time...
Wow congratulations! Sorry you went through mc.. I'm waiting for my mc bleeding to stop so I can try straight away...did you try straight after failed IVF or mc?
Thank you! 🤗 so sorry to hear about your MC ... hope your bleeding stops soon 🙏🏽... I had a failed IVF mid February and started trying after my first proper period in early March...
Fantastic news! Very inspiring I've often wondered if we should try a blanket approach like that...we always try and aim for the fertility window...but noticed a get fertile mucus sometimes up to 4 days before LH tests indicate ovulation...??
Also trying naturally this month, was meant to start treatment this month. My doctor put me on Tamoxifen for fertility (maybe not so natural) but here's to hoping.
Next week Saturday I think but not too sure as I was on Norethisterone tablets before my treatment was meant to start, which made my last cycle longer, so my app is assuming that this cycle will also be longer. However, I think I ovulated earlier than expected so hoping I can test mid next week. When is yours due?
Hey all, we are also trying naturally since our failed ICSI last October. Seems such a long time ago and time is ticking by so quickly. I turned 43 a couple of months ago and struggling to keep positive. Will it ever happen? Is it too late? Am I too old?... But then I read stories like TTII's (congratulations!) and get those positive thoughts back again.
Fingers crossed for us all... something good has to come out of this awful situation we find ourselves in. Take care and stay safe all x
Hello, I think there is still hope at 43. Many people did and you could be one of them too. Have faith and keep trying and trying and trying!! Keep us updated. I wish you the best of luck xx
I’ve always just been ttc naturally so no different for me. Last cycle I had another chemical my 2nd one since Dec and I’ve had 3 mmc at 12/13w since 2017 I’m 40 now. I’m coming up to ovulation I just think my eggs are getting worse tbh I’ve gone back on dhea giving them another go.
Good luck! I heard good things about dhea too. Where did you get them from? I got some maca pill last night from amazon which will arrive today. I am going to give that a go together with vitex. Might add dhea to the mix. Baby dust to you xx
I’ve used just about everything I got pregnant in 3 mths from taking a whole load of supplements was it that 🤷🏻♀️ but if I’m counting the last 2 chemical pregnancies they were Dec and Mar so 3 mths.
I wish there was a quick easy pill to take to make it all happen.
I cant remember the site I bought them from took about 3/4 weeks to come. I have not used vitex as my cycles are regular.
I got DHEA from Biovea it’s in America as it’s not licensed in UK. I took about 2 months before I conceived my daughter. Can’t say if it was thing that made the difference as there were many factors! Sorry your period showed up that’s very upsetting best of luck for next cycle 🙂 xxx
I took 50 mg daily 🙂 I have very low amh which DHEA can help xxx they say you can take between 25mg to 75mg. It can take 2/3 months to have a positive impact xxx I’ve started taking it again as we are considering trying again 😘
Both my husband and I are taking Impryl. Have been taking them for 2 months now, but nothing yet, thinking they might take a while to kick in. Has anyone else tried them?
Yes we did and they made a big difference to my hubby’s results. Sperm is made on 3 month cycles though so you wouldn’t see the effects for another month for him x
