6 month wait

Hi I had a donor egg transfer in feb which worked but I miscarried at 9 weeks. I was then referred for further tests such as blood tests and hysteroscopy which have all come back fine. I have had to chase up results and appts and getting frustrated with my clinic. We have a blast frozen but been told there is a 6 month wait now. I get Covid has affected things I am a nurse but when you have paid £7000 for the treatment it is really frustrating and now been told it will be an extra £1500 to use the frozen blast makes it worse. Do I have an other options I am 42 so time not on my side thanks sorry for the rant

Sorry for everything you have been through. You should be able to pay to transfer your embryos to other clinics however there may be other cost implications, the new clinic may want to do their own tests etc so might end up costing you a lot more. I contacted a new clinic in the summer and while at the initial introduction meeting they gave all these great time scales that looked like I would start staright away i later read reviews on line that said there was a 4 month wait and they hadn't even booked in all the people who had paid and had treatments canclled due to lockdown. I know it's rubbish but sometimes they are all as bad as each other. Worth looking into but get all the facts etc first. Good luck x
