Hi all,
After a long wait I finally started my FET cycle with a transfer date booked for 16th Nov.
This follows from a 'query polyp' which was identified last year & subsequently couldn't be found at the hysteroscopy, moving clinics, and finally having a 'tiny' polyp removed in September.
I had my 12 day scan today for a transfer of 2 frozen embryos. Lining was 'good' apparently at 7.34 and looked 'juicy'. No idea how this compares to others.
Unfortunately, the nurse found what looked like something sticking out from my lining (suspected scar tissue or root of the former polyp). I'm awaiting a call back today after the Consultant has looked at the scans, to see if I can go ahead with the FET.
Has anybody else had a polyp that won't go away or any scar tissue following a polyp?
Really worried about what this means - I'm now 41 and due to age was advised to go ahead with a fresh transfer in July when I still had the small polyp, as age is the bigger factor. Concerned that if I go ahead with the FET it won't work due to remnants of the polyp (and adverse endometrial receptive factors) or if I don't that would be worse as it's not looking good for getting another hysteroscopy/ whatever operation I might need to remove the root (if this is even possible???!).
Has anybody got any thoughts of experience?
Hope everybody is keep well and good things are happening.
Thanks
