FET day is here!

It’s finally FET day, and clinic will call to let me know if one of the 2 embabies has thawed nicely to give me a time to go there for transfer.

For some reason it feels so unreal that my worrier half it’s telling me “it’s because nothing will work”. My other half tries to be positive and says “everything is going to be fine”. What a mess I am 😂

Wish me luck please 🙏🏻

Any other warrior due for FET today so we can chat and get crazy together?

Our precious 5AA before freezing became a 5B after thawing (🤔) and is now safe and sound to where it belongs ❤️

OTD I was provided with is 31/01, so let’s the madness begin 😂

same test date , there’s no way I will be able to hold out until then ! I didn’t got told anything other than it was a “C” but apparently expanding well so I’m assuming it’s a 4 or 5 . I had assisted hatching , did you ? I am going absolutely loopy on the estrogen , so emotional and scatty . Have you had any symptoms ? I think a lot of mine are from the progesterone x

I have had some very mild abdo cramping but really mild. On my successful transfer in 2020, I was full of symptoms but all caused by progesterone - weird boob pain, cramping, vivid dreams, waking at 4am. But I did have pink spotting on day 8 post day 3 transfer. All the BFN times after, have been largely symptom free except for vivid dreams and waking early. This transfer is much the same. Maybe I’ve developed a tolerance to the progesterone hence the lack of symptoms. But I do keep an eye out for that pink spotting because it’s all I know that was the most reliable symptom for me.

They did not mention assisted hatching. To be honest they seemed to be “on a rush” and did not chat a lot. I was in the transfer room at 12:05 and out (like out of the clinic) at12:30.

I am also very emotional on the meds 😂 and the brain fog, oh my goodness 😂 the worst is that I’m so bloated from the progesterone!

Symptoms wise, I had bad cramping on transfer date, it faded yesterday and seems gone. Other symptom is that I’m so so so so tired I’d sleep all day. And I’m also very very hungry. But that’s it.

Last time I was sure it worked, I felt that I came back home “complete”. This time is totally different. I feel a bit numb and empty.. 🤞 it’s not a bad sign

my fatigue comes in waves and the brain fog means I’m getting virtually nothing done 😩 are you going to wait until the 31st to test ? X

I don’t know. I’ve ordered some tests on Amazon that were supposed to be delivered tomorrow, but are out for delivery today. I have no faith I will be able to hold it for another week, but I’m fearing the result 😂

Today I’m having cramps again, like before period, and some nausea… and my face is covered in spots 🫣

I have been testing everyday because I have zero self control 😂 all negative so I’m gutted and am just thinking what my next steps will be . The medication makes me feel pregnant so it’s all abit of a rollercoaster tbh xxx

It could be too early for even a faint positive. Are you day 3 or 4dpt? I’m 4dpt…

I’m 5dpt , testing on first response. All my cramps have settled down now . Worst day was day after transfer x

Maybe wait a few days to test again. I suppose there’s a reason why we’re given a date as OTD (trying to convince myself 😂)

When I have been pregnant before it was always 9/10dpo I got a positive but maybe frozen embryos are different . I’m hoping I’m just being mental and I’m too early . I’m finding it so hard this cycle . I think I just thought it would all work with ivf and it’s not go

Just want to say it could be a false negative. I had this and didn't get a positive until I had missed my period last week whereas my other pregnancies I've tested early as 12DPO and got positives ( 2 live daughters 1 late loss and 4 miscarriages ) so yeah all pregnancies are definitely different and some do implant later. You're definitely not out Hopefully in a few days you'll a get BFP Xx

with fresh transfer in 2019 first positive was on 9dpt. So I suppose 5dpt could be a bit early. Let’s try to resist and think positive ❤️

I just keep having on and off tummy aches but I think it’s the progesterone x

I’m having again strong cramps today, especially on the left side of my tummy. But I also have a condition called “nutcracker syndrome” that, depending on blood flow, gives me similar pains every now and then. So I’m trying not to get crazy with these “symptoms” and wait..

regarding testing, with my fresh (successful) transfer in 2019 I think I tested on 5dpt and it was negative (cannot remember what day it was) then tested again after a few days and there was the faintest second line ever seen, slowly progressing the following days

I’m just trying to ignore how I feel now 😂 I have more of a constant come and go tummy ache rather than cramps . I know every pregnancy is different and I’m just hoping I was too early . Is it true frozen embryos take longer to hatch and Implant ? My embryo was expanding but hadn’t hatched yet on day 5 . It’s enough to send you mad all this ! Xx
