Cyclogest pessaries - advice

I’m 5dp5dt and have been using Cyclogest vaginally but its starting to feel irritated down there and leaves quite a mess. The doctor said to insert the pessary vaginally however, reading the leaflet it states you can also insert in the back passage.

So my question is does it matter where I put it? I have emailed the hospital but they tend to take a while to get back to you.

Any advice is appreciated xxx

My clinic said either is fine, and I did anally in the morning and vaginally at night xx

Definitely ok to switch to the back if you are suffering a bit. Its less messy too and sounds worse than it is!xx

I have been doing it mainly from the back as it’s less messy as others have said. I have done it vaginally a few times when I felt a bit constipated though. Sorry that’s a bit TMI! 😂Sending you positive vibes. Xx
