Am preparing for my first fresh transfer (I know, big news!!) For those on cyclogest pessaries every 8 hours, do you literally set alarms in the middle of the night to take them? I’m assuming so...

Oh hifer, so pleased for you! Im only on 2x400mg pessaries so every 12 hours (and a lubion injection) but yes I try to do them 1 every 12hrs apart. Good luck.xx

Why can’t they make the meds a bit more user friendly??! 😂Thank you. We figured we’d try a fresh as we’ve tried everything else!! When are you booked to fly? X

Exciting times! And you are starting the little balls of Pessary joy 🙈😂 For 3 times a day 8 hours apart you could do 7am before you get up, 3pm and then 11pm as you go to bed (or something similar depending on when you wake up) xx

Eeeeek!! Good luck! I’m currently 7dp 5dt and I am a jibbering wreck.

I’m on pessaries am / pm and lubion injections 6am and 9pm. My clinic didn’t say that they needed to be exactly 8 hours apart so I’m hoping these are just covering all bases... xxx

Thank you. Wishing you a speedy 2ww! I know how it feels!! I’m not taking lubion so don’t worry as our meds are different. I’m sure you’re doing everything you should be. Xx

My clinic always said approximately every 8 hours. They even suggested I’d take one before work in the morning, one upon coming home and one before bed. That was fine they said, and on my first transfer (my daughter!) it clearly didn’t compromise anything 😉 Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. Like you say, it didn’t affect your first transfer 👏👏. Xx

Having had four transfers since (all high quality hatching blasts FET), I even got it into my head that maybe I should spread the pessaries more evenly. Didn’t make one bit of a difference. The ‘best’ transfer out of that series was a chemical, where I was doing the morning, after work and before bed schedule...
