Orgasm guilty during 2WW

I had symptoms/some feeling after 3 day fresh transfer, but all the symptoms suddenly stopped yesterday(day 5 after transfer) after orgasm accompanied 1-2 minutes hot flows/pain of the uterus, went for test immediately and it’s negative, I’m aware no sex during 2WW, but I realised maybe not Orgasm as well until it’s too late, I’m so down at the moment, feeling no hope and regret, no one remind me this, now I can’t sleep whole night😭

Hi Avocado, don’t worry too much, it’s too early to test positive or to feel any symptoms at all. I had involuntary orgasms twice in my sleep during tww which petrified me but ended up with BFP. Now 20 weeks pregnant with twins. I was obsessively searching if the orgasms could have impacted my chances but there is no such evidence. Try not to get down on yourself and symptom spot. I know - easier said than done! Wishing you good luck!

I hope you have better news in a few days but orgasms shouldn't impact implantation - one of the theories behind the spasms is that they help the sperm along their journey. They also increase blow flow to the whole area which again is good - lots of women take supplements or specific foods, or do exercise to try and increase blood flow as it's meant to help implantation and establish a good connection to the embryo. They also flood your body with endorphins and other beneficial hormones. They can cause cramps and even be painful when there's more blood flowing around the area or when it's a bit more tender, like on time of the month, but this also happens during pregnancy when blood flow is increased. Most women TTC more than one day a month or don't stop intercourse after ovulation, so chances are they orgasm around the time of implantation, and think it only helps. Nature's designed it that way and if it did any harm I think we'd be in trouble as a species 😀 - i hate the 2ww and know hard hard it is not to symptom spot and second guess everything but I'd rule this one out from your things to worry about list and enjoy it if ot happens again!

please don’t beat yourself up about this. Both ivf clinics I’ve been to have said there’s no evidence to suggest orgasms affect implantation and both are actually fine with sex during the TWW. An orgasm may help with the stress of it all and actually help the cause for all we know 🤣
