Any tips on how to deal with your first ICSI BFN?

Hi guys I tested two days early due to really bad heaviness and pain downstairs. I am due to test officially Weds but tested today and got the starkest negative ever. I am absolutely heartbroken and worse still my OH is too. Should I call the clinic and tell them or wait till weds? Heartbroken x

Hey. So sorry to hear that. I’ve been there and it’s so heartbreaking 😥. I’d wait til your OTD and test again. If it’s still BFN then give your clinic a ring. Clinics are usually only interested in the result on the official test day. Keep your meds going until then.

I’m don’t really have any tips for dealing with negative tests. I guess you just cry, grieve, get angry and give yourselves time to heal. I find making a plan for the next months helpful as it brings back control xx

Sorry it’s a negative this time. The clinics have always made me test of the actual day and aren’t interested in hearing before then. Take care! X
