Swapping utrogestan for cyclogest? Advice needed

So I’m self administering my leftover utrogestan pessaries with my surprise bfp (have a really nice strong FRER today) but I’ll run out in a week.

Anyone know if I can switch from utrogestan into cyclogest? I’m worried to do anything that will put this pregnancy at risk but I have LOADS of cyclogest.

I don’t see any reason why not ... drug is the same they are just different brands

My consultant said that they are equivalent, so why no?

Yes its no problem Orla! I have used both and swopped in and out to use up for expiry dates etc. Its totally fine. I presume you are still administering vaginally?! Oh and my clinic actually think cyclogest are the better of the two.xx

Well cyclogest I always used up the back so I did one today at the back. Do you think it matters? But the utrogestan are pessaries which I’ll wean off into cyclogest xx

I just meant were you taking the utrogestan orally or anything wildly different! A straight swop over will be ok. I don't think the back matters with cyclogest, much less hassle that way! Lol The things we do eh?!xx
