Hello! This is my second cycle of IVF ICSI. We had our first on NHS two years ago. 15 eggs, 12 mature, 5 fertilised and had a freeze all as I bled into my pelvis after egg collection. Two thawed, one didn’t make it, so thawed another. Both slow to develop and failed FET. Second two thawed and also failed FET.
Two years down the line. Wedding postponed due to COVID, so we’ve tried again. This time we are with Manchester Fertility. I’m 35, have PCOS (without actual cysts). High AMH of 39 (was 44 two years ago) and high AFC. Fiancé has morphology of 3% (was 1% two years ago so supplements have helped!).
Im on ICSI antagonist protocol - I’m three days into 150IU of Meriofert. I add in Fyremadel on Sunday. I also will have what looks like a double trigger shot of Buserelin and Gonasi. Also on Metformin to help stopped me from OHSS.
Anyone with me?
Xxx

Hi lottiebeth84 started our cycle at the beginning of the month and unfortunately only have 2 follicles for ec as 3 didn't grow well. 4th round of ivf and the others have all done a lot better. Made the tough decision to go ahead and try as you only need 1 good egg I guess. Egg collection is Monday. Also on Fyremadel but on menopur in addition. Doing trigger shot on top of this tomorrow evening. We are also doing icsi. Good luck with your treatment and sorry to hear about your wedding 💒
Oh hey! It’s not the quantity it’s the quality!! I’ve realised that. I don’t have a problem getting eggs it’s the quality which is poor so I’m in trouble. I say go for it girl!!
