Thin lining ☹️

So I had my scan today good news I have to decent sized follicles for my iui one at 14mm and one 11mm so they should be good.

Although nurse said my lining was thin not even thick enough to measure☹️

Have another scan Saturday to check it any recommendations to try and thicken it up before then??

Hey! I've heard Brazil nuts and pomegranate juice helps. Not sure how true that is but worth a try! I tried that too but I don't know if it was that that helped or the progynova I was on. Good luck!xx

Here is how i thickened my lining to 10mm 10 days after ovulation: pomegranate juice and beetroot juice every morning. Red clover tea. Tofu. Oats and bananas every morning.

You can try raspberry leaf tea; pomegranate juice, beetroot juice, vitamin e, l’argine (sp?), walking to get the blood flowing and a hot water bottle. Good luck! x

I’ve been told to be careful with caster oil packs in the run up to transfer because they can disrupt the lining just thought I’d mention it, maybe worth checking? xx

I did 1 a day in the week before I started the progesterone, who knows if it helped but my lining doubled in a week 😬 xx

Hi, are they going to start you on estrogen tablets (or any kind of estrogens)? This is the main way. Sometimes they might not start you on these until the trigger shot, are you planning to take one of those? Maybe ask the clinic what the options are. Best of luck xx

They didn’t mention about estrogen tablets which is weird cause I asked what I could do and they said not really anything just have to wait and rescan. I will be taking a trigger shot so I will ask about that tomorrow thank you for your help😃 xx

Update!!!!

Had my scan this morning and my lining jumped from nothing to 5.5mm couldn’t have been more shocked!

Thank you to everyone who gave my hints and tips they seem to have paid off!

Insemination booked in for Tuesday as the are confident my lining will continue to grow😃

While the follicles grow your estrogen goes up and your lining gets thicker. Good luck with your IUI!
