Scan at 6-7 weeks, what was your CRL?

I had my scan yesterday. I was 6 weeks 5 days based on the date of FET but the sonographer said the baby measured 6 weeks 1 day. I was obviously stressed but she was unconcerned and said the measurement will be up to 5 days out as it takes up to 5 days to implant. I guess this makes sense.

Anyway I can’t help but fixate and last night found this chart hindawi.com/journals/isrn/2...

which seems to me to indicate the baby is 6 weeks 3 days (which makes me feel much happier). The CRL was 0.43 cm.

So I wondered what size other people’s measured at this stage? X

Hi lovely,

I’m not sure if different scan places have different values. I had a scan at 6+3 and my report says CRL was 6.6mm.

At my 12 week scan though baby was measuring 6 days ahead of IVF dates and so my due date was changed and brought forward.

Could they see a heartbeat? xx

My twins were 4.8mm and 5.3mm so measured a day or so behind

I was 6+3 according to IVF transfer date but 6+1 according to first day of last period which is what the NHS used to compare (this was an NHS scan as I was high risk ectopic so had an NHS one a week before the IVF one)

So according to last period I measured fine, but I was behind according to IVF date 🤷‍♀️

I’ve always had one twin measuring bigger than the other And this correlates to the fact one was a hatching 5BA which was thawed on day 3 so was pretty active when it went back in and a frozen day 6 4BB which was only thawed a couple of hours before transfer

Thank you! I feel a bit more relaxed now. I’ve got another scan on 6 October. Ages away!! But I’ll just hold out until then 😊
