7 week scan - not good news

After 5 years we finally got our bfp three weeks ago. I kept quiet both on here and to our friends and family as I thought it was too good to be true, turns out I was right. At our 7 week scan this morning our baby has a slow heartbeat and is only measuring 6 weeks 3 days.

We are to go back up next Monday but have been told to expect the worst and if I bleed to head to our local hospital.

I have no words right now to explain how I'm feeling.....

Oh I'm so sorry this happened to me last year and was warned I'd have a missed miscarriage. It wasn't great news for me and I was ever so sad. Please do not give up. You know it can work now. My consultant said it was quite common and that if and when you decide to do it again you are more likely to get an amazing outcome because your body will remember what it needs to do. Thinking of you both xx

Really awful. So sorry. I hope that they find a different result next time. The size is something that readings can be out by around 5 days so hopefully that would explain one. On the other side hopefully the heartbeat is greatly improved on your next scan x
