Feeling torn

So I am still waiting for surgery to have my tubes removed following all the delays due to COVID, they tell me they are 6 months behind. I am panicking that the longer this takes the worse my eggs will be (36 years) I am torn between paying for the surgery private or having some embryos frozen private. Does anyone have any advice? Many thanks

I lost both my tubes between age 35 and 36 and actually the IVF cycles i did when I was 37 yielded the best quality compared to the IVF I did before losing the last tube so I wouldn’t worry too much at this point.

If you were over 40 I’d say differently

Having your tubes in shouldn’t have anything to do with egg quality. I would perhaps do an ivf cycle while you waiting then you can do frozen transfer once you’ve had the operation. Perhaps speak to an ivf clinic doctor to see what they recommend, you could always go for the first consultation to see what your options are.

Don't worry re age yet...36 is fine...the Drs say after 40 there are more chances of decline...but for anyone who is 40...its still possible xxx
