Hey lovely ladies. Hope u are all well.

Just wanted to share that my husband and I had our second appointment today to find out the cause of our 2nd miscarriage. They advised it was due to extra chromosomes or something and that it one of those things which they hope would not happen again.

They advised the possibility of a test for our frozen embryo to see whether there are any issues before next transfer. Has anyone been offered or have done this?

All our bloods came back normal so that good.

I am also pleased as they have advised us that for our next pregnancy (hopefully we will be fortunate again)that they will scan me at 6 weeks and then every 2weeks until 12weeks, They have also prescribed us pessaries for throughout early pregnancy. All reassuring and def worth a try. Saves me feeling anxious with the waiting and money with not needing a private scan so yeah is good and am grateful to our nhs. ❤️

Next steps setting up and having an appointment with our fertility clinic. Then if can booking in a FET for end of July I hope 🤞🤞

Can only but hope but is def a good start ❤️❤️ ☺️

A few people have had their embryos tested. May be worth it given the results that have come back. I hope you can have your FET next month and wishing you lots of luck 🤞 xx

Awww Im so pleased that you have at least some answers now and to know that its not something that is reoccuring, so often ladies find no reasons for their pregnancy loss. Great that you have a plan ahead that you will be closely monitored too. I can only think that they are suggesting PGD which involves taking a small biopsy of the embryo to see if it is chromosomally normal. Not had this done myself but some ladies on here have. Definitely forging a good path ahead, really happy for you both!xx
