Lubion Progesterone (soln for injection 25mg)

Hello, has anyone ever put Lubion in the fridge and gone on to have a successful pregnancy? It said to keep below 25’C. I put mine on the door of the fridge at the top during the really hot weather, it was easily 23’C in the house if not more - fridge is probably @5’C and it was in there for 10 days in total. I had cosmetics melting in the house, so trying to use my common sense! The leaflet does not to put it in the fridge or freezer. A nurse at the clinic is telling me to order more (I have my FET tomorrow). When I rang the Pharmasure, the distributor, I spoke with customers services manager, she told me it would be ok - they keep theirs in an air conditioned store room between 5’C-20’C. Have asked clinic to ask consultant for me if worth going ahead with transfer tomorrow-very worried now. Thanks!

Sorry you're having a worry! If the distributor said it was ok, I wouldn't worry too much. I get my medications sent to me via the mail, ice packs against everything (for 1 or 2 days transit) and then left out in the sun for several hours. Never had an issue with a medication not working. Incorrect storage can make medications deteriorate faster, but rarely is it a big concern when stored in-correctly short term. Hopefully they give you the go ahead, all the best xx

Thank you for responding Chel91. I asked the nurse to call the consultant earlier and see if I should go ahead with the FET tomorrow - he suggested I come back in for a scan to see if the lining was thickening up, so I’ve just had it. Apparently it’s increases and like you, they said, if the distributor said it was ok, it’ll probably be fine! So some relief

I have my lubion out and kept at room temperature. I was instructed by the clinic that way x

I wouldnt worry about it too much, I'm sure it wont have caused harm. Best of luck.xx
