25mg Lubion - help please

Hi guys,

My clinic have agreed for me to have one lubion injection rather than 3 pessaries a day. This will be our 4th transfer and I have always spotted or started my period before OTD. They are not interested in testing my progesterone levels.

I know everyone is different but from others experiences do you think 1 lubion injection a day is enough? Feeling a little lost and nervous about going into our next transfer and the nurse I spoke with gave me no help or reassurance.

Hi Elly, sorry to hear about your spotting with previous transfers - it's so frustrating isn't it.I spotted on just pessaries the first time - so since then I have been on 1 x 25mg lubion per day and 2 pessaries - I think often the general consensus is that you can't have too much progesterone xx

Thank you. It's so frustrating... The clinic will only put me on one lubion a day with no additional pessaries. I have a stash of pessaries left over from previous cycles and half tempted to use these 🤣

I am on 2 x lubion a day this time but also stressing about progesterone so am self medicating with extra- 2 pessaries a day! Frustrating when your clinic won't entertain testing your level

I always bled early, 5/6 days past. I have lubion and 2 x cyclogest and I’m currently 9 days past with no bleeding. A bfn but no bleeding.

I have been put on one lubion 25mg a day too this pregnancy and my clinic were hesitant on testing my progesterone levels I had to demand it and the results came back saying I have enough progesterone and do not require additional. I get worried too. As my last pregnancy ended in a chemical and at our follow up I asked if i need more progesterone and they said that wouldn’t have been the cause for a chemical and that one lubion a day is more than enough for me.

Yeah my clinic really don't think I need more progesterone and don't think the spotting would be related to my progesterone. I find this all very frustrating, especially as I would be paying for the extra progesterone.

Hi MrsCampbelly just wanted to let you know that my acupuncturist advised I DEMAND an extra blood test for my progesterone levels on day 4 post transfer (as I have low levels usually) and she said if I just SHOW UP to clinic they can't really turn us away, could you try that? Luckily my clinic (in Aus) totally agreed to my additional blood test request but I was ready to demand it if i had to. We pay them thousands to get to this stage, what's an extra blood test to them?!

I also had the injections this time (rather than pesseries) and it's so much cleaner and easier I was on pregnyl 1500 though, which is hcg and tells our bodies to make our own progesterone (hence the blood test to see if my body responded, luckily it did at a measurement of 70).
