Leftover Lubion injections

Hello Everyone,

I hope this post would be allowed.

I have around 2 weeks worth of Lubion injections to sell from my recent FET cycle which didn't work. Those injections are expensive so ideally I would like to sell it for like a half price to any lady in need, so she will have it slightly cheaper and I will have a bit more money towards the next cycle. I bought them from Stork this July.

Thanks!

Marta

Hey zytajones,

Lubion has a pretty decent shelf life so I would check the expiry date because if you are planning on having more treatment within the next year, you’ll probably need it again!

Hello KiboXX,

Thanks for your note!

We decided with my doctors that I will stick just to pessaries. Lubion didn't help in my case plus I didn't feel well after taking them.

I feel it would be waste to keep them as they are expensive!

It is illegal to give away or sell prescribed medication. If you don’t need it you will need to dispose of it xx

I have seen other ladies' similar posts hence mine one. IVF cost is horrendous so its one way to bring it down just sligthly.

By breaking the law?

I thought exactly the same, I had 3 boxes of Gonal F in my fridge valuing approx. £550. Nothing I could do though, I didn’t use them on my next round and they went out of date this summer. It’s a horrible feeling but not much we can do 😞.

Hi SR90,That's a shame and feel like a huge waste.

I wish we could do something about it. No pharmacy want to take it back as its too lucrative business for them!

Ye the only way is for them to dispose of it. My clinic said they could take them for training purposes but they had plenty of it at the time.

Frustrating but I think I feel more reassured (as expensive as it is!!) getting it from a pharmacy than someone online. But would be nice if you knew someone going through it you could trust and have medication from them. But we can’t even do that.
