Menopur side effects

Hi all, I started injecting 225 menopur 2 days ago alongside my Buserelin.

I feel very strange today, zoned out at times and body feels tired and slow, lack of energy and have a headache.

I’ve got terrible fear of getting covid as treatment will have to stop so I wondered if anyone else had experienced similar symptoms on menopur?

I’ve considered getting a Covid test but don’t actually have the symptoms (but as we know it effects people differently) so not sure it’s worth it. My husband felt similar to me yesterday which is why I’m questioning it.

I definitely felt like this at times on menopur and burselin is the worst! It does sound like it could be your meds. Hope you feel better soon 🤗 xx

Thank you, that gives me some reassurance. I’ve worked from bed this afternoon and felt better as the day has gone on. Hopefully just the meds! Xx

From my experience I can tell you that Buserelin can give you these kind of side effects not necessarily Menopur. Regarding COVID my husband had the virus and his first symptom was headache, I also had really bad headache just 2 days before he tested positive. I was 99% sure that I have the virus but I was wrong, tested twice and it was negative. At that time I was down regulating so I understand your fear. My clinic performs egg collection even if you are positive but they will not do the transfer. Xx

Ah that’s very helpful to know. Thanks for replying. I have felt generally on ok since starting Buserelin but perhaps it’s the combo of both 🤷‍♀️ I don’t think mine will collect if positive. Hope your husband is ok? Thanks for your reply, you’ve helped with the reassurance I was looking for 😘

He is fine but still struggles with his sense of smell, almost 2 months past and his smell is not 100% back. Hope that you feel better now ❤️ Good luck 🤞
