Cyclogest Pessaries

Hi everyone, this is a bit of a funny question... I'm day 3 post transfer and been using the pessaries twice a day as instructed. I'm lying down after insertion for at least 20min (nice to have an excuse to lie down!) but there seems to be a LOT of leakage coming out when I stand up. Today there was a proper 'blob'! I'm pushing them in as far as I can... Sorry to be graphic but I just wondered if lots of mess is normal? I'm terrified my lining will be thinning down and my embryos don't implant because of this!

Dont worry this is completely normal. The progesterone is absorbed and its the wax that come back down due to gravity....the things we have to suffer eh?! If you havent already, panty liners are must for the mess. Also some ladies to put them in the back to save all that mess. Try not to worry, we all get this!xx

Thank you! Got the liners on board so its definitely manageable. Just some days there's definitely a bigger blob than others and I got a bit of a fright this morning!!

I put mine up my backside, and make sure I don’t go for a number two for at least 30 minutes. I don’t have any leakage at all

Currently on a beach holiday and ruining bikinis due to this 😂 The liners help but don't seem to absorb much xx

Hi koalawahine. The drug is absorbed by the vaginal lining in about 20 minutes after insertion, so the wax that leaks out is just the product used to shape the pessary - you’re fine! Diane
