Bit of a lighthearted story here for all you IVF fighters, wherever you are on your journeys. My OH and I took a lovely long walk along the beach today. The weather was hot and sunny, loads of people out and about enjoying themselves.
I nipped to the public loos for a quick medication stop, and discovered to my horror that the pessaries had melted beyond use 😅😱 Queue several panicked minutes trying to cool one down under the tap. The subsequent soft messy attempt at using it I will leave to the imagination.
OH asked what had taken so long and I casually explained. He was horrified. It appears he didn't really understand that cyclogest goes 'up there'! Bear in mind I've been using it for 7 weeks now and this is our second transfer.
Oh how I wish us ladies could live in such blissful ignorance! Safe to say I'm now enjoying a smug advantage over his head in the sand approach to IVF. Love to you all and hope this makes you smile xx

Oh, both your stories made me chuckle! The bullets! And the blissful ignorance... makes me wonder if mine has ever understood what pessaries are. I’ve talked about them as messy but who knows what they’re are in his head? Am inclined to go check now even though I’m not on them this time around... keep sharing these lighthearted stories please!
