What checks can my Wife get whilst we are waiting for SSR?

Quick background: After failing to get to pregnant the "old fashioned" way, we have established that I am missing one vas and the other is blocked, CFTR gene related. So SSR is the way for us and the waiting list is long!

So to my actual query! My wife found she has a mild PCOS on one side which, although certainly not great, we have been advised it isn't likely to be a huge problem. However we wanted to know if there was any checks which she could get done in the meantime to check if her PCOS condition would have a major effect on getting pregnancy and ultimately having a successful birth? (Either NHS or private)

She's had her hormones checked and it came back normal.

If her hormone levels are normal and she is ovulating that's good news. The clinic might recommend an HSG to check her fallopian tubes, but I can't think of much else. I'm not familiar with male factor but are assuming you'll be having ICSI. The IVF drugs will take over her cycle and she might need low doses to avoid over-stimulating.

PCOS is pretty common and many women go on to have healthy successful pregnancies, naturally or otherwise. The main problem is irregular periods and therefore unpredictable ovulation, but there are medications and treatments to help. Some good news is that egg quality tends to stay better for longer in PCO ladies and IVF may produce a lot of eggs.
