Appreciate if you can share your experience. I am on my first long protocol ivf after 8 years dealing with endometriosis having FSH19 and AMH 2.9. I have started with Buserilin 40iu from 5th July. On D2 of bleeding reduced the Buserilin to 20 iu and started injecting Manipur 75iu and Puregan 225iu. After 8 days of injections, had a scan on 25th and there were a few small folicols and my estrogen was lower than 50. Clinic didn't change the doses and told me to continue with injections. Had next scan on Saturday and they could see only 3 folicols in right ovarian size 8 and 9, nothing on my left side. They told me my body doesn't respond but asked me to continue with injections for another 3 days and have another scan on next Tuesday. They increased Manipure to 150iu and reduced Puregan to 150iu. I don't understand why they mix Manipur and Puregan instead of putting me on high dose of Manipur. Why they don't increase the doses if my body doesn't respond. Should l still have any hope?
Sorry for the long message.
Thanks!

Hi there, my oestrogen levels dropped after 1 week of injecting and at that point I had 2 follicles over 10 and then another 2 smaller ones, I was also on long protocol and then over a weekend my oestrogen increased and I ended up with 7 eggs at retrievel. I was also worried like you as it seemed the meds were not really working very well. I just went for more walks, had a couple more sessions of acupuncture and it did start to take effect. It seems some people take a bit longer. Hope this helps and good luck tomorrow x
Thanks for your reply. I went for scan today and it seems l have 2 folicols over 10 now. My estrogen improves a bit and Dr told me to continue my injections for another three days. Hopefully it works!
Great news, try and do a small bit of walking and light stretches to get the blood flow and mind yourself, try be positive. Once your oestrogen is rising that means that something is happening, I had 5 appear over the space of a week so there is definitely hope for you too. x
