How many days of progynova?

Hi all, just wondering how many days of progynova do people usually need before starting progesterone for their FET?

And what dose do people usually take?

Hi Kseye, I’m interested to know what people say about this as my clinic seem to have messed up things for me this time round. I usually take 4mg twice a day For a week then increase it to 6mg twice a day for another week and start progestrone. This time I’m doing a ‘short’ protocol and they started me on 6mg twice a day (I think by mistake rather than intentional), I went for my scan today (day 14) and they told me to start progestrone on Thursday. So that means I would have been on the Estrogen for 15 days in total... still waiting for my miracle 🤞 good luck with your cycle xxx

P.s I take Zumarnon (I think that’s the name)

Yeh I’m just wondering too as I have lining issues so always end up on a lot of oestrogen for a long time. Was on 6mg for 11 days, now up to 10mg for a further 4 days. Hoping I’ll start progesterone on Thursday too.

I just started on Zumenon (?) today and will take it until the 2nd July when I have my scan and expect to start the progesterone, 5 days later I’ll have the transfer 🤞🏻

I take it at 8 hour intervals, x3 per day xx

I was on Progynova for 10 days, added progesterone on day 11 after a morning scan to confirm my lining was thick enough. Transfer on day 16 x

This time around i was progesterone for 11 days then started crinone, due for transfer day 16. Previous cycles ive been day 19 transfer twice and day 22 transfer once x

Hi Kseye,

My protocol is 12 days on progynova 2mg(3 times a day) then the scan. If everything is fine I should start the estrogen and one week after that we will do the transfer.

Im advised 2mg x 3 times a day for 10 days. Then scan. Leaflet mentions to start progesterone on day 11 and roughly have it a week before transfer. But dates arent filled in so i think it can vary how much you need and will depend on first scan? Goodluck !! Xx

Hi, I've started progynova on day 2 of my cycle, three times a day. It was later increased to 4 times a day after the TWW as I had a BFP. I need to continue until week 10 4 times a day. I started progesterone pessaries on day 15 of my cycle three times a day. I need to continue on the same dose until week 10.
