Has anyone taken lubion? It will be my first time on it this FET and will also be on the suppositories. When did you start taking the lubion? At the same time as suppositories? 6 days before transfer?

Also is it sore to take?

I took Lubion - I can’t remember but think I took them when I started suppositories. I was on it for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy, not sore at all - I was basically doing them with my eyes closed at the end! Good luck xx

Thanks, thats really reassuring. Were you on them just once daily?

Yeah, you have to take them at the same time each day so think carefully about when to do it as you could be doing it same time for three months! I randomly picked 8pm

which was a bit annoying ha.

I took them for my last FET. I didn’t start them until transfer day, just because I had my progesterone tested and it was low.

Not painful to do but I did get a bruised like feeling where I had injection about an hour or so after I did it and it lasted most of the day but it got less noticeable the longer I was on them!

My clinic asked me to do them at lunchtime and cyclogest morning and evening x

I've had lubion and yes it can be a little nippy if I'm honest. My tip is to inject it nice and slow. I usually have cyclogest pessaries 2x400 per day and a lubion every 2nd day with my evening pessary.xx

Thanks Cinderella, did you start before transfer?

Yes alongside my cyclogest pessaries. I previously had low progesterone so this was added into my routine protocol and I had my levels checked on transfer day to check all was ok!xx

Yeah we initially had to take 2 cyclogest every day and 1 lubion every 3rd day but then tested progesterone and was low so increased lubion to every day. it doesnt hurt. yeah start it at same time as pessaries. Good luck xx

I have taken lubion on two different cycles, it was previously just suppositories now its lubion injection twice a day, altgought im sure last time i was injecting once a day, this time ive been told twice & no cycolgest, they sting a little more than bruserlin & leave a lunp so you have to rub the area, but nothing major, i start my lubion this time on the 20th embryo transfer 25th xx
