Lubion

Hi, I stated my lubion injection last night and have just done another one, I’m struggling with these. I’m finding the liquid harder to go in than any of the other injections I did initially, and also finding the area quite sore afterwards, last nights one is still aching this morning.Does anyone have any similar experiences of Lubion or anything that helps?

Feel like Iv been punched in the stomach!

I completely agree with you. I am currently taking Lubion and also find it takes longer to inject. I also found it hurts a lot at times even in to the next day. I have been taking it now for two weeks and I find it doesn’t hurt every time now. I found moving the side each day and spot helped but there are still days when it’s bad. Hope it gets better for you xx

Warm up the vile in your hand or somewhere warm as it's oil based and more viscose. I found it less painful in my thighs. My tummy was so sore for 48 hours and I had a lump where it had been done but since using my leg it's much better xx

Hi Southeast. Ouch! Try and get some lignocaine gel. Put a blob on the spot, don't rub it in, and cover it with a clear dressing for 20-30 minutes. Wipe of and inject - should be no pain. Your GP or pharmacist would prescribe it for you, but remember the clear patches too. Good luck! Diane
