I am day 2 of my cycle and planning to have FET in about 2 weeks time. The clinic have booked my in for a scan on the 18th and so I am now just on countdown until then. I have read up on some things to try and things to avoid, but this morning I just really felt like a PMA was pretty much all I can bring to the table with this one.
Being a single, 39 year old hopeful donor mum it has been a pretty isolating experience, especially doing the complete IVF process alone due to Covid so have not even been able to see or hug my mym and sisters. But I really feel like this is going to work and as soon as a negative thought enters my head I push it out. I know it might be a little dangerous to be convinced this process will work for me, but I know the percentages, I know the averages, I just also know that being positive about the outcome is all I can actually control.
I was just wondering if anyone had any helpful tips on staying positive, I know I'll likely have a few wobbles, and also for relaxing especially in the evenings as that tends to be when I over think and can get anxious.
Thank you xx

Hi.. im on day 1 of my FET so we should be cycling pretty close together. Ive found meditation and acupuncture to help in the past. Although dont know if acupuncture is possible at the minute.
I think im going to try out some yoga..i think there's specific fertility yoga aswell.. and this could be done at home easy enough..best of luck xo
Go a nice walk, give yourself a home facial and I found watching some good series of netflix distracted me for the evening...especially something funny like Friends, or girly series like Desperate housewives, Dead to Me and Good Girls or Real Housewives of New York.
I remember a nurse telling me to watch trashy reality TV to take your mind off things and it really works!
Also before bed, download Mindful IVF app, it had podcasts to do with breathing exercises to help u relax and fall asleep, I found them so useful.
