Sorry for the rant... but it feels like every other clinic than mine is now listed on the HFEA website 😭😭😭 just want to get on with things!! Feel like my life has been on hold for long enough!

What I always found the hardest was not having a fixed date to work towards, however far in the future that might have been so I get where you’re coming from. Have they given any update at all? X

I remember from a previous post we’re at the same hospital. I was there yesterday and for the first time in months it feels like it’s getting back to normal. The shop and coffee place are open again, lots of people around etc. I was there a few weeks ago and it was deserted so a huge difference. Still security on the doors and it feels very safe so hopefully it won’t be long now. xx

Hey Millbanks. Right there with you. My NHS clinic is on the HFEA but they haven’t communicated once with us formally. They haven’t made any decisions about when or how they will get us in and have said it may be months before they contact us so a few people whose clinics are on the list are soon to start treatment but my impression is most of us still have NO IDEA and it is absolutely torturous. Xxxx

Yeah, you have every right to rant, Millbanks, (I'm doing it enough!), it sucks! It really sucks. However, being on the HFEA website unfortunately isn't a help for some of us either. Clinics still being evasive. Hate the limbo-ness, the not knowing, and the lack of urgency! We feel you. xxxxx

Aaaaarrrrhh! This is worse than waiting for a very lated period 😬 . I spoke to my clinic today. They are listed on HFEA but don't have Trust agreement to plan surgery so only doing frozen transfer just now. My fresh cycle was abandoned during down reg 😭. I may be able to resume in August BUT second COVID19 surge is predicted in August so cycle may need to be cancelled again!!!! I'm gonna try go with the flow because I have no control over this. ✌️☯️☮️ Hope u get an update soon Millbanks x

Can I ask if your clinic is private or NHS? Because I need surgery before I can have my next FET so if they’re not doing those procedures on the NHS yet I could be in trouble! Xx

My clinic does NHS and Private but shares the theatre with the main hospital. I thought about switching to a 100% private clinic but then in the midst of a pandemic the private hospitals are limiting capacity to support the NHS (e.g. our local NHS chemo unit has been moved to the private hospital to protect patients).

Hello! I've dm'd you - I know we are at the same clinic as we have privately messaged before. And I was thinking this too!! So feeling is totally normal. But it is up there! And approved to resume services! Yay for us! I'm in touch with other people from our clinic and sounds like we have all being feeling the same. You are not alone but also yay for us and the good news! Xx

I did that too!!! When my clinic appeared on the list I then kept checking my phone in anticipation of a call. Driving myself insane 😵
