So I am turning 29 next month and have never naturally had a period! When I was younger I was on the pill to make sure I had a monthly bleed as that was the only way I would have one.
Any success stories of women with PCOS and getting their period back naturally as a step towards battling infertility?

Hey! I have PCO but not PCOS and had regular cycles but just ovulated late.
Many many things have been recommended to me over the years as being great for regulating PCOS cycles so i thought i’d share so you can do your research into them.
- Vitex agnus castus: A natural herb that supposedly helps balance out the hormones of women over a few months to regulate them, and therefore their cycles. Personally didnt work for me, however ive read LOADS of stories online and on this forum of women who felt it benefitted them.
- Inofolic: A lot of PCOS women are insulin resistant. This helps mop up excess insulin plus has folic acid in which is good for if you’re trying to conceive
- Low sugar / carb diet: Similar to above. I cut out all processed sugar from my diet and tried to be sensible with carbs.
There was something else but ive forgot 🙈🙈
I also used Ovusense for about a year. A little bit expensive but its good for PCOS women, it tracks your cycles and can tell you when you’re going to ovulate. I found that really helpful xx
Hi Tryingtobe_Happy, I also have pcos ,I have 2 kids one is a teenager ,one is a preschooler . For my first it took me over a year to fall pregnant with irregular periods. And my 2nd happened relatively quick with my new partner when we started trying to conceive. But I would say I was at a healthy weight the 2nd time round . We are trying again for no.3 but as my BMI is 30 not holding much hope plus classed geriatric mum now , when drs open I would talk about them helping you concieve as that is what I am waiting for hoping it not too late . Hope this helps you xx
