Starting treatment

Hi,

So last week I posted about NHS V private and I got a call on Monday to book in for our initial consultation for this week for the NHS. We had our appointment over the phone and once we have had our extra tests done in the next few weeks once things are hopefully a bit more settled in the world.. then our doctor has said realistically we could start treatment at the end of summer with all being well.

I’m writing this post to just say don’t give up hope, the clinics are starting to open again and I hope you all hear something soon 💛

Hi Lau. Happy for you. What's the end of the summer? Just wondering if I'm being too complainy complaining about treatment in August.

Our doctor said realistically we would be looking at end of July/august for starting treatment. I think because we need some blood tests in the next four weeks which takes us to the middle to June and to then have a consultation, and as well to put in the steps for covid possibly. Hope this helps x

Thanks. That makes sense. I'm already with my clinic, so think I will get on to them when they are open as I've had the consultation, blood tests etc. so not sure what the wait until August is for. xxx
