Hey everyone, hope you are all okay and keeping safe x
I had my eggs collected in March and had 4 embryos frozen. I had my frozen egg transfer delayed understandably due to the coronavirus. A week after egg collection I got my period and think that was a 24 day cycle and now I'm on day 46 of my cycle and still no period. I had a bit of spotting a few days ago but that was it. Can your cycles go a bit funny after egg collection? I don't have regular cycles anyway but when I started ivf I got myself eating healthier and cut out sugar so cycles went down to 32 days. Still eating reasonably well. Just wondered if it could be because of the egg collection. It's so long just waiting for a period to arrive. We want to start trying again naturally while we wait until fertility clinics open again but it's so hard to try when cycles are this long and irregular.

Hi Greendog. Cycles can become a bit haywire once egg collection has been achieved. I wouldn't worry too much about FET as we can usually manipulate you to produce a nice womb lining ready for transfer. Hopefully while you are waiting your periods will return to what is normal for you. Diane
My first proper period after egg collection is always always late! I’m usually regular, have shorter cycles (25 days) and mine are normally around 5 days late. As yours are a bit longer and less regular that might explain the lateness. Try not to worry, hopefully the spotting is a sign it’s on it’s way xxx
