FET postponed with 1 day to go!

Am now on the big waiting list with so many of you ladies.πŸ’™

Such a bummer! I'd started to feel lousy on Sunday - sore throat, shivers but nothing more sinister as yet. I rang my clinic yesterday for advice, I talked with my husband and we found it so hard to decide what to do. I laid out the 5 information leaflets of the different medicines I was on and compared all the possible side effects I thought "no wonder I am feeling lousy anyway!"

Just who knows?!! Common sense would tell you not to risk it. But 6 weeks of mood-altering meds and a change of routine cooped up at home social-distancing don't help you think rationally.

In the end I just couldn't bring myself to turn up to the clinic today and risk passing any infection to the nurses or doctors. I feel like I would be starting my 2ww under a huge cloud.

And yes postponed is not cancelled, the embryo will be safely stored until we can resume treatment, when we are not in a global healthcare crisis. We will eventually get to try again.

And of course I feel much physically better today! πŸ€ͺ

Hi hannahkc. Well, you've made the decision that is right for you both, and as you say your little "frostie" will be quite safe until the time is ready to transfer him/her back to you where he/she belongs. Keep well. Diane
